Survey Requests

The Executive Cabinet is interested in limiting the survey burden placed on students, faculty, and staff at Salt Lake Community College. In order to protect the privacy of those affiliated with SLCC, and to be respectful of their time, Cabinet evaluates large surveys and those administered by external groups.

Who is required to submit?

• Surveys contacting over 500 students will need cabinet approval.
• Surveys contacting fewer than 500 students will be presented to the executive cabinet so that they are kept aware of the projects presented to the SLCC community. EXEMPT: In-house program evaluations required by accreditation and funding agencies are exempt from this process.

The department of data science and analytics can provide consulting on surveys.

We can help you: build out the survey, survey administration/distribution, review your survey materials, assist with the analysis of your survey, and/or anything else.

Cabinet reviews survey requests on the first Tuesday of each month.
