Funding Search Engines

Funding Search Engines are provided to help PIs locate funding opportunities.

  • Grants.gov: A search engine and resource for grant seekers as well as a mechanism for submitting most federal grant proposals. The search engine allows the user to search for open grant programs by name, CDFA (Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance) number, or topic. Users may also subscribe to receive daily notifications of all new federal grant opportunities, RSS feeds customized to your research interests, or updates to critical issues.
  • The Federal Register: The official daily publication for rules, proposed rules, and notices of Federal agencies and organizations, as well as executive orders and other governmental documents. It includes notices about the availability of funding (also announced through Grants.gov). The web site includes an advanced search engine.
  • USA.gov: A list of government agencies at the federal, state, local, and tribal levels.
  • Science: A list of research and education opportunities in science, math, engineering and technology.

Sponsor Websites

Sponsor Websites provide links for all major Federal and Local agencies that provide funding opportunities. Additionally, Sponsor Websites provide guidance on application processes as well as agency specific compliance concerns.

General Resources

General resources are provided to aid PIs in a variety of areas. These vary for assistance with Creative Commons Attributions to Congressional District information.
