Standard Meeting Times (Bell Schedule)

The New Bell Schedule Fall and Spring Standard Meeting Times (PDF), the New Bell Schedule 12 Week Meeting Times (PDF) and the Summer Bell Schedule contain options that indicate the standard class start and end times. There is a formal process to request exceptions. One and two hour courses and courses more than five contact hours should be scheduled to coincide with the beginning times on the chart for three-hour courses.

We encourage the development of hybrid courses that meet face-to-face once each week to help us utilize our physical space more effectively. In particular, we encourage hybrid courses that meet on face-to-face on Saturdays and complete the remainder of the course work online. This model has proven to be very successful at a number of institutions.
