Bruin Beginnings

Welcome to Salt Lake Community College! We're thrilled to have you join us for Bruin Beginnings: New Staff Orientation. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of SLCC and discover what makes our college special.

In the first half of the orientation, we'll explore SLCC's mission, vision, and values, giving you a deeper understanding of our institution's core principles. Our team will also cover essential topics such as Professional Development, Campus Engagement, Employee Benefits, Wellness, and more. This portion is designed to help you grow and get actively involved on campus. Attendance is required.

In the second half, you're invited to stay and gain insights from the Office of Information Technology’s Training Department. They will provide an overview of key OIT services and resources and guide you through a walkthrough of MySLCC and the SLCC Website. This optional session is a great way to familiarize yourself with the technology you'll use as an employee.
