Supervisor Essentials Certificate Program is designed to provide SLCC’s leaders with the knowledge, skills, and behaviors needed for being a successful supervisor in our diverse campus community. This Certificate is required for all new supervisors and must be repeated every two years. The program contains six modules and runs from 9 A.M. - 3 P.M.
All Sessions are held in the Oak Room, STC, Taylorsville Redwood Campus

*Not required if you have previously completed Safe Hire in the last two years

- Assertive Communication (virtual): July 29
- Conflict Resolution (in-person, TB 225D-B): Aug 5
- Leading Effective One-on-Ones (virtual): Aug 12
- Delegation (in-person, TB 225D-B): August 19
The Core Manager Training covers key topics to ensure supervisors are well-prepared to lead their teams successfully. Supervisors can register for one session, all four, in any order to enhance their leadership effectiveness.
