Growth Planning & Support (GPS)

Continuous Feedback, Coaching and Development

We encourage on going conversations between you and your supervisor regarding expectations and your growth. Your conversations may be done through one-on-one conversations or other methods of “check ins” covering the following:

  • Performance coaching can be an effective tool to increasing communication with others, setting goals and providing feedback.
  • Determine expectations of your position or a specific work assignment.
  • Set realistic goals together with your supervisor. Ask clarifying questions you may have regarding your progress toward specific goals set. Seek specific feedback on how to increase performance.
  • Share ideas regarding your career development, professional development, or interests.
  • Refer to The Way We Lead for SLCC’s shared leadership practices.
