Level 3

These long-format programs have been designed with behavior change in mind. Participants will be incentivized for selecting and completing a maximum of one item ($200) from this list (Health Mastery program options include Personal Training, Stress Management, and Recipe Book & Mindful Meals):

Social support is a key component to successfully adopting healthy behaviors. Departmental Programs are health education programs that are custom-built based on the department's needs. These programs will leverage the power of the existing team structure to empower health behavior change. Departments may request a custom program by contacting EmployeeWellness@slcc.edu. Departmental health programs are based on availability.

Participants of the Personal Training Program will receive a maximum of 16 weekly Personal Training sessions.  Due to staffing limitations, this program is available to a limited number of participants.  If you would like to participate, please review the Personal Training procedures then watch for the announcement email from People & Workplace Culture’s Wellness Team.  If selected, your Personal Trainer will contact you to finalize your training schedule. Due to the high demand for this program, participants are selected based on if they have not participated before and/or how long it has been since they last participated. Prioritization is given to those who have not yet participated.

For your convenience, the introductory information has been embedded within the intake form. You are welcome to submit the intake form now to be included in our current block of Personal Training.

Recipe Book and Mindful Meals: This program is designed to further the connection between meal planning, shopping, cooking, and eating.  Participants will prepare, consume, and evaluate 10 recipes from either of the custom-built SLCC's recipe books.  Within the recipe book, participants will have the opportunity to learn how to incorporate mindful eating practices into their daily lives.

This program is asynchronous and begins when you want it to begin and ends when you have completed the Recipe Rating Tool. Please download and complete the Recipe Rating Tool. To receive incentive request instructions, send your Recipe Rating Tool file to Christina McWhinnie.

Similar to the Level 1 Regence.com self-guided programs, the Level 3 Regence Empower program requires more time and attention to complete. Full-Time employees are welcome to select and complete 18 consecutive weeks of self-guided programs that are meaningful to them via Regence.com. For example, if an employee's overall wellbeing would be best served by preventing or better managing high blood pressure then they should consider joining the Improving your Blood Pressure Program, Nutrition for Better Health, and Managing Stress programs. Most of the 11 programs available are six weeks in duration, so to qualify for the Level 3 ($200) Regence Empower program, 3 programs should be completed.

Once 18-weeks of programming have been completed, submit the Regence.com incentive request form and send in the "History" report to EmployeeWellness@slcc.edu as evidence of the completed Regence.com self-guided program. After signing into regence.com, this report can be accessed by clicking on Meet Regence Empower. Once on the Regence Empower dashboard, select History from the top right section under ‘Incentives’. This view will show all completed programs. Once verified, the incentive request will be added to a future paycheck.

How to access Empower:

  1. Register or sign in to your regence.com account
