Public Relations

SLCC’s Public Relations Team works in around-the-clock collaboration with stakeholders from across the College in efforts to strengthen our position and reinforce our reputation as an integral part of our community. Pulling from a refined toolkit of strategic communication efforts, PR informs both internal and external audiences about College goings-on while building trust, deepening relationships, and fostering lasting support. Their responsibilities include: 

Leadership & Strategy: Leading the way in planning strategic communication, executive messaging, team coordination, and resource management in a way that aligns and amplifies SLCC’s voice across all audiences.

Public & Media Relations: Managing all media relations, press outreach, and crisis communications. PR shapes the public narrative, shares impactful stories, and protects SLCC’s reputation as an institute.

Content Creation & Institutional Support: Providing strategic communication support to various internal stakeholders through consulting, planning, and content creation. PR oversees and contributes to our storytelling across many platforms by capturing and curating photography that visually supports College messaging, as well as co-managing the student content creator program.
