  Connie was amazing in helping a student in crisis—she not only got her connected to the Center for Health & Counseling but also stayed supportive and helped troubleshoot along the way. It's so reassuring to know we have staff like her who are calm, caring, and ready to jump in when students need help!

  LeGrand has always been an integral part of Library Services. Currently, he should be commended for going above and beyond and taking classes to help the Markosian Cafe. The cafe has never run more smoothly since he took over and proves he has the golden touch. Thanks for all you do for the library, LeGrand!

  Lisa Bradshaw is one busy person! Yet when I run into issues, she always takes the time to answer all my questions. She is super knowledgeable and her training sessions on travel are the best! Keep up the great work, Lisa!
• Meti Havea, Coordinator - Contact Center
  Meti Havea exemplifies SLCC's mission. In the past month Meti connected with over 50% of her student cohort. Meti's compassion shines in her support of students. She went above and beyond to help a student with housing insecurity, and another with a medical emergency. Her actions reflect SLCC's values impacting students and colleagues.
• Printing Services - Theresa Adair and Staff
  Theresa and the Printing Services staff are quick to respond to all our testing center locations. They keep us informed on deliveries and other services. We appreciate their services as a Testing Services support faculty, students, and the community. Thank you, Printing Services!
• Tatiana Schild, Administrative Assistant - Center for Health & Counseling
  Tatiana showed exceptional care by supporting a student in crisis, watching her two children during counseling. She made sure they felt safe, fed, and entertained. Her calm, compassionate approach was truly impressive—we're fortunate to have her in our campus community!
• Xcel Veen, Specialist II - Student Services Offsite
  Xcel brings a blend of leadership, positivity, and professionalism that makes SLCC a better place to work. She sets a tone for our office culture that is enjoyable to be part of.
