• *Ace Miramontes, Lab Aide - Information Technology
  Ace from IT is such an asset to the college. He was able to take parts from other laptops and put them together to bring three old laptops back to life! What a great example of creativity, resourcefulness, and solid technical genius. He really knocked it out of the park and found a way to make the most of our limited resources.
• Becky Armitage, Assistant Director - Dean SAT & Technical Specialties
  Becky stepped into Acting Associate Dean unexpectedly and was able to navigate the transition to support the department. Her willingness to step up and keep the department moving has made a meaningful difference for both employees and students. Becky exemplifies the dedication, leadership, and service that make SLCC a better place to work.

  Crystal's positive attitude is a wonderful asset to our team. Crystal goes out of her way to help other employees and make sure the students are getting the help they need! Crystal genuinely cares about our department and the work we do at SLCC.
• *Erica Gudino, Librarian - Library Services
  Erica did a fantastic job helping students feel at home on the campus during the first days of the semester. Her dedication helped the library staff welcome literally hundreds of students and make sure they could navigate valuable resources from day one. Thank you, Erica, for making this all possible.

  Always makes time to help our team. Can always count on him to reply in a respected amount of time. He is very easy to work with.

  Jie is always generous with her knowledge and is happy to share ideas, resources, and experiences that can benefit others. She is consistently willing to offer her help whenever someone needs it and does so with kindness. Her collaborative spirit and genuine willingness to help make her a valued colleague and definitely makes SLCC a better place to work!

  Megan is the most empathetic and kind employee. She comforted me during a hard time and is a genuine person and worker.
• Rebecca Speulda, Specialist - Math
  Rebecca is an exceptional colleague who is always kind, dependable, and supportive. She treats everyone with respect and is someone you can trust completely. She is always willing to listen, offer help, and maintain confidentiality when someone needs support. She definitely makes SLCC a better place to work!
• Sarah Orozco, Coordinator - Orientation & Student Success
  Sarah provided voice-over for a series of English and Spanish training videos that will help students and families better understand and navigate important processes related to the Office of the Registrar and Academic Records.
